About me
Briana DuBose, M.A. is a current Ph.D. student at the University of Texas San Antonio in the Interdisciplinary Learning & Teaching program. Briana researches how current and former athletes learn entrepreneurship and how surrounding ecosystems support them in their business pursuits. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at American University where she competed as a Division 1 Athlete, and her Master of Arts in Organizational Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania. From her master’s thesis, she authored her first book, the ABCs for College Athletes: A Practical Guide to College Sports. Most recently, Briana has experience as an award-winning faculty member at the Georgetown University Sport Industry Management program, and as a management consultant completing projects for corporate, small business, government, and college athletics clients nationwide. Briana is originally from Maryland but currently resides in San Antonio TX, and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
