2026 Black Student-Athlete Summit

I am a 27-year-old from the South Side of Chicago. Even though my upbringing was in a big city, my values and morals are rooted in the Deep South. My mother is from Alabama and my pops is from Georgia. I have 2 older brothers who also played college football, however I was the only one to play defense. I played various sports growing up so I pride myself on versatility. That versatility showed on the football field as I was able to play linebacker and nickel as well as in the classroom having success in the different subjects. I graduated from McKendree University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2021 and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration in 2023. After my football career, I have kept up with fitness, personal training and coaching. I also began my pursuit of getting into medical school after receiving my master’s degree and after 3 “growth years” I will be matriculating into medical school at Rush Medical College and continue to expound upon medical pipeline programs, community advocacy and mentorship.
